Meet the founder
I'm Wanda, a skin therapist, cosmetic chemist and founder of Balmsense®.
Through years of working with clients, combined with my scientific knowledge, I kept seeing the same thing: people with cupboards full of creams and lotions, yet their skin still felt tight, dry and sensitive.
Perhaps that's not so surprising. Many conventional skincare products consist largely of water and therefore require preservatives. And the promises made about them don't always stand up to closer scrutiny.
That's why I began developing my own balms, guided by an understanding of what skin actually needs. Concentrated products without added water, preservatives or unnecessary fillers. Every ingredient has a purpose.
Inspired by the skin itself, my balms help strengthen its natural protective barrier, reduce moisture loss and respect the delicate balance of its microbiome.
